Gulmarg is a famous hill station and ski resort in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Its name means “Meadow of Flowers,” and it is located at an altitude of about 2,650 meters (8,690 feet) in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. It is around 50–60 km from Srinagar, making it a popular day trip as well as a longer holiday destination.

- April to June: Pleasant weather with blooming flowers and lush green meadows.
- July to September: Good for sightseeing and nature walks, though occasional rain is possible.
